When Copper Dog Whisky approached us to design, produce and operate a bar for the GQ Awards, our creative design team were thrilled at the opportunity of showcasing such a brilliant Scottish product at such an iconic event. Inspired by the brand’s namesake used to smuggle whisky out of distilleries, a marriage of whisky staves, copper and light was constructed to represent the heritage of the product and the refinement of its creation.
A thoughtfully considered menu was devised by our drinks innovators that showcased the tasting notes of the whisky through visceral and vibrant cocktails. Our expert team of mixologists provided the room of over 400 VIP guests with a delightful evening of carefully crafted drinks, akin the standards of a high-end cocktail bar, served in premium glassware provided by Barnomadics.
