Diageo invited delegates from their operations in South America and the Caribbean to attend a conference held over two days in Scotland. The conference was an opportunity to connect these indelible spirit producing nations and celebrate the legacy of their brands. Barnomadics were asked to produce and operate three different bars over the duration of the conference, along with thoughtful, concept driven cocktail menus for each event.

On the first day we created a visceral Scotch Whisky Experience bar which incorporated interactive, educational and multi-sensory elements to engage guests in an immersive drinking experience. Set in the beautiful Gleneagles estate, we also produced a full-portfolio Diageo bar that mirrored the rustic visual theme of days event. The next day’s bar design took on a modern classic aesthetic, making use of illuminating features and elegant white cladding that fit the stunning location as if it were a permanent feature of the room. This grand cross-cultural event took place in the historic Stirling Castle, which raised some complex logistical challenges due to the winding and fragile nature of the castle’s architecture. We love that no project is ever the same, and constantly adapt our approach to the multivariate world of events.
